The Network of Automated Collection Points, which manages the PickPoint delivery service, has filed for bankruptcy before the Moscow Arbitration Court. The information is reflected in the court case file.
PickPoint’s management decided to close the business due to the accumulated problems with the counterparties. By November last year, online stores filed dozens of lawsuits against PickPoint for a total amount of more than 300 million rubles. According to the latest data, the amount of claims is about 730 million rubles.
In February of this year, PickPoint stopped accepting requests to send parcels from most Russian cities. PickPoint was reported to have run into financial difficulties due to a foreign shareholder.
