At Meta’s Conversations event this Thursday (19), WhatsApp announces a business-focused paid version with extra functions. Available for WhatsApp Business users, the company confirmed: the app will get a free cloud hosting service and more features. However, the values of subscribing to the WhatsApp premium plan are yet to be revealed.
What new whatsapp paid plan According to the target, it brings the possibility of small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) to have additional tools. Among the new features, the company highlighted: companies will be able to create personalized ad links. For example, a business can create a link “wa.me/loginhatecmundo” produces more standardization.
Additionally, WhatsApp Business is expanding so companies can manage more devices at once. Until then, one WhatsApp Business account in the free version can add up to four different devices, while optional Premium version allows you to add up to ten simultaneous devices.
Mark Zuckerbeg, CEO of Meta and co-founder of Facebook, also confirmed that WhatsApp Business can be used by “any business of any size worldwide with the WhatsApp Cloud API”. The new API (Application Programming Interface) is still “Free and secure cloud hosting service provided by Meta”.
The company states that for companies and developers, the API makes the application easier, allowing them to start working on the platform faster. The service also aims to eliminate server and similar expenses.
Great Prospects for WhatsApp Business
With the Premium version of WhatsApp, the expectation is so high that this was one of the highlights of the presentation. Last Thursday (12), the company launched an official Twitter account for WhatsApp Business and has since commented on the event, inviting users to follow the news.

In his speech, Zuckerberg reported that “more than 1 billion users” are already connected to a WhatsApp Business business account “every week”. The company expects the number to increase further with the global opening. However, WhatsApp understands that not all SMBs should use the WhatsApp Cloud API in their business. API is optional like Premium plan subscription.
