According to the head of the department, Maksut Shadayev, the process will be very simple: the client takes a photo of a QR code, uploads an electronic contract to the application, where the passport data is already stored. It then signs the contract with an electronic signature using the State Key.
Such a system would eliminate manual filling of paper documents and contracts, and also make subscriber identification simpler and more reliable. This is expected to be another step towards the full transition to digital technologies and make life easier for citizens.
Testing of the project is scheduled for the summer of 2023.
