Another large IT company has started work on creating its own analogue of ChatGPT. Huawei has filed a trademark application with the China Patent Office for NetGPT. The company has previously stated that it will not integrate ChatGPT into its products.
Huawei, a Chinese electronics and telecommunications equipment manufacturer, has applied to the patent office to register the NetGPT trademark, writes Gizmochina. The company plans to develop its own analog of the ChatGPT neural network and compete with OpenAI.
Development details are not described in the application, but the NetGPT trademark refers to a class involving the registration of scientific instruments.
Huawei has previously stated that it has no plans to integrate OpenAI ChatGPT into its products.

The Chinese Tencent started working on the project, Alibaba has already introduced its competitor ChatGPT. Elon Musk also decided to join the race to train artificial intelligence.
