In addition to the Notes app, the update brings other new features, including a toolbar for quick access to “everything you might need while gaming,” a redesigned notifications tab, a screenshot manager, and more.
The patch also brings hardware acceleration to the Linux version of Steam and soon to the Mac, and minor changes to some parts of the interface.
The update is currently only available to those participating in the Steam beta test, but Valve plans to roll out these changes to a wider audience at a later date.
