Microsoft is expected to release a major 23H2 update for Windows 11 in the second half of this year. Users currently using Windows 10 may consider upgrading to Windows 11 or another operating system.

In general, Windows 10 will continue to receive security updates until October 2025, but Microsoft prefers not to advertise this fact too much and emphasizes that “Windows 10 will not receive any new features”. That’s why the company wants you to upgrade to Windows 11, which is more demanding on the system. So, according to Microsoft’s logic, you should go to the store or upgrade your PC components for a new laptop with Windows 11 preinstalled.
