After two years of hereditary and corporate conflicts, Natura Siberica will change ownership: AFK Sistema will soon close the purchase of this cosmetics company.
The parties did not disclose the amount and other terms of the agreement. The corporation will become 100% owner of Natura Siberica, Vedomosti learned.
The general director of Infoline-analytics, Mikhail Burmistrov, believes that the acquisition of this company by AFK Sistema could cost no more than 3 billion rubles.
- Natura Siberica was founded in 2008 by Andrey Trubnikov, it included the brands Recetas de la abuela Agafia and Planeta Organica. After the death of the businessman in January 2021, a conflict broke out in the company related to the fact that ex-spouses and children from different marriages claimed the inheritance.
- In November 2022, Natura Siberica announced plans to enter the Qatari, Singaporean, Israeli and Palestinian cosmetics markets. The Russian brand is now represented in retail chains in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
- In 2023, Natura Siberica intends to launch hair dye sales under the ICE Professional brand for hairdressers and beauty salons. So, the company is trying to occupy the niche of the manufacturers of paints Wella and Londa who left Russia.
