According to insider information, the Chinese company is working on a new phone that will support next-generation 210W charging. This will make the device the king of fast charging among Redmi products in 2023.
Redmi’s 210W charging technology is known to use triple charging IC architecture. The 210W input voltage is divided into three streams, each with a voltage and current of 20V and 3.5A.
Each stream then goes through one of three charging ICs that convert it to 10V and 7A. The three streams are then combined at 10V and 21A, then the voltage is split between two battery cells, each receiving 5V and 21A.
Such a scheme will probably allow you to charge a smartphone with an average battery capacity from 0% to 100% in just 9 minutes!
It is not known how soon Xiaomi will introduce this device. But as rumors start circulating the Web, it should be soon.
