According to Statcounter, Safari accounts for 11.87% of the total browser market. At the same time, the leader of the list, Google Chrome, has an impressive share of 66.13%.

Compared to 2022 data, Safari’s share increased by more than 2%, while Microsoft Edge’s share increased by only 1%.

The rating itself looks like this:

  1. Google Chrome: 66.13%
  2. Safari: 11.87%
  3. Microsoft Edge: 11%
  4. Firefox: 5.65%
  5. Opera: 3.09%
  6. Internet Explorer: 0.55%

Note that with the release of macOS Ventura, Apple added a host of new features to Safari, including notifications, tab groups, strong password editing, improved CSS, and Passwords.

In turn, Microsoft is actively developing smart features for the Edge browser. The company has integrated the Bing search engine with ChatGPT and the popular DALL-E image generator.
