The South Korea-based company briefed employees on one of the biggest parts of the new policy the day before on Monday, May 1.
The document, sent to company employees, shows that Samsung is concerned about the security of data transmitted to AI platforms, including Google Bard and Bing.
According to a survey conducted by the company last month, 65% of respondents believe such services pose a security risk.
Interestingly, in early April, Samsung engineers accidentally leaked the internal source code by uploading it to ChatGPT. In this regard, new rules were introduced prohibiting the use of such systems from working devices.
