Apple has asked a court in London to dismiss the $2 billion lawsuit. It was filed by lawyer Justin Gutmann on behalf of an iPhone user in the UK.

He accuses the company of hiding battery problems in smartphones and secretly installs a power management tool that limits performance.

Apple said the lawsuit was unfounded. The group vehemently denies that the batteries in the iPhone were defective due to the small number of iPhone 6s.
