We are talking about listening to voice messages in any application menu. Thus, beta testers found the ability to listen to voice messages outside of chat on WhatsApp.
This allows users to chat in several chats at once while still listening to the voicemail. In the current version of the application, if the user wants to listen to the voicemail, they cannot exit the chat, otherwise the playback will stop.
A new feature has been found in WhatsApp version 2.2316.2.0 for Windows. It is not yet known when Messenger will be available to all users. But given that it’s already implemented, there’s not much to expect.
Recall that earlier the WhatsApp team developed another useful feature – the ability to transfer chats to other Android devices without syncing them with the Google Drive cloud service.
