Volvo Construction Equipment has discovered its own EC230 excavator, which will be tested in North America this year.
A 23-ton machine is often for the same operations as the diesel equivalent: for profit, excavation, and so on. The difference is that it is fully battery powered, which results in zero emissions, quieter operation, reduced maintenance and higher cost of ownership for customers.
The first excavators will deliver newborns as part of a pilot testing program soon.
