The revenue of the Russian “daughter” of Google – LLC “Google” – in 2022 fell by 82% compared to the previous year. It amounted to 24.2 billion rubles. The company’s loss also decreased by 61%, to 10.2 billion rubles, TASS writes with reference to the company’s financial statements.

  • In December 2021, the court imposed a negotiable fine of 7.2 billion rubles on Google for failing to delete information. In May 2022, the bailiffs started a case on the forced recovery of money.
  • The assets of the Russian “daughter” of Google for 500 million rubles were detained by decision of the Moscow Arbitration Court. The claim in this regard was filed by the television company NTV. The Moscow Court of Arbitration made another decision to confiscate property worth 500 million rubles following a lawsuit by GPM Entertainment Television LLC, which is part of the Gazprom-Media media holding company.

  • In May, the company applied to the arbitration court to file for bankruptcy effective March 22, 2022.
