The demand for business trips to Switzerland, China and Oman has grown in recent months. The travel and cost management platform Raketa shared this data with RB.RU.
Airline and hotel booking statistics show an increase in interest in these destinations.
At the same time, countries such as Kazakhstan, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Belarus are among the most popular. The first place is occupied by business trips in Russia.
In April there was a strong increase in the number of business trips. In relation to March, it rose to 23%. And in relation to April 2022, the growth was 129%.
The rise in the price of travel services
Flights in the corporate segment increased in price by 20% compared to April 2022. Hotels became only 5% more expensive. The cost of train tickets increased by 31% and transfers – by 61%.
Transport
On business trips in April, the Russians most often flew to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Sochi, Kazan, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk and Istanbul. At the same time, 98% choose economy class. Another 2% prefer business class.
If a train is chosen for a business trip, only 4% of travelers bought SV and luxury. The rest for trips around Russia choose “Peregrine Falcons”, “Swallows” and “Swifts”.
Among the most popular rail destinations for Russian business in April are mainly Russian cities: Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Khabarovsk, Yaroslavl, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Tynda. At the same time, tickets to Belarus and Kazakhstan are in demand.
