The U.S. Naval Experimental Branch in Florida has passed the first tests of a new set of equipment for divers called DSEND. At its core, it’s a deeply modernized belief of the classic deep-sea suit, with everything to blame for its shortcomings. The developers of DSEND say that it provides the same mobility at depths of up to 90 m as on the surface during the day.
DSEND is not new, useful and lightweight material, thanks to anything, not only to step under in the ode, but even to swim after a training course. At the same time, it is a closed hermetic environment, completely autonomous, internal, which can provide full conditions for the life of divers. Breathing air, heating system, lighting for working at depth and more – the DSEND operator carries everything on himself.
The design of the limbs of the suit is innovative, it is possible to adjust to the parameters of a particular person. The location and shape of the joints have been completely redesigned for easier and more precise control. This likely allows the diver to use at depth a wider range of jobs being performed. It is assumed that if the design is implemented successfully, it can be used for even more sensitivity
