According to military expert Alexei Leonkov, these include the Shturm and Ataka air-launched missile systems used by helicopters and aircraft.

Also among them was a place for the ground complexes “Competition” and “Cornet”. All of them are capable of penetrating the thick armor of tanks. There are also many anti-tank mines such as the TM-62.

Leonkov also noted that Russian tanks are equipped with armor-piercing feathered sub-caliber shells, including “Mango-2” for the T-72 and “Lead” for the T-90. These bullets can pierce Leopard armor in any direction.

Recall that earlier the German newspaper Bild reported that modern anti-tank systems, TM-62 mines and Russian tanks pose the greatest threat to Leopard tanks.
