According to the patent, the smartphone will receive two hinges that allow you to fold a large OLED screen into three equal parts in a zigzag shape.
Thus, the device transforms from a tablet into a compact smartphone suitable for viewing photos, videos and surfing the web in tablet mode, and for more compact use on the go.
In addition, the patent describes the use of sensors and microcircuits located on the hinges of the device to determine the state of the phone.
For example, if both hinges are fully open, the sensors transmit this information to the processor and all user interface elements are displayed on the screen. If the phone is folded so that only one of the three parts of the screen is visible, the interface will only be displayed in that part.
