WhatsApp Beta has expanded the catalog of chatbots available on the platform. In a recent experimental update, the platform included “AI Studio,” which brings together different “personalities” powered by artificial intelligence that interact in different ways.
Web site WABetaInformationThe company that first announced the news shared screenshots of the feature in action. In the images, WhatsApp says AI Studio enables conversations with “different AIs” specially.
Within the tool, the user has access to various chatbots: Meta AI, Billie, robot Bob, to name a few. Each one has a specific offer, such as a virtual assistant or humorous chats.
WABetaInfo does not mention how many AIs are available on the platform, but the screenshot shows at least 8 different personalities. The edition also reveals different categoriessuch as chatbots aimed at learning or discussing sports.
The captures suggest that Meta will use this space to make chatbots developed by third parties available. For now, It is unclear what the process of creating your own chatbot will be likeeven if this can be done for free.
In any case, it is worth emphasizing this. All conversations with chatbots remain confidentialChats remain end-to-end encrypted but can be used to develop models.
Not available in Brazil
Now, only a fraction of testers have access to the sourcebut access should be expanded over time. The function was found in WhatsApp Beta for Android version 2.24.15.10.
