The company first announced the limit in November 2022, saying customers will receive 1TB of “priority access data” per month. However, customers can continue to use the Internet at slower speeds after using 1TB or pay $0.25 per gigabyte. Subsequently, Starlink delayed the implementation of this change to February, then to April, and has now abandoned it altogether.

The updated Starlink usage policy now states that standard plan users have unlimited data, not to mention the previous 1TB limit and overdrafts.
