Google showed off its first foldable smartphone. The Pixel Fold will be officially unveiled at the Google I/O 2023 annual developer conference on May 10. The specifications of the device have not been revealed, but it bears notable similarities to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold.
A teaser appeared on Google’s official YouTube channel, showing the first foldable smartphone of its own production, the Pixel Fold.
The characteristics of the device are not disclosed. The video shows that the smartphone has a camera panel similar to other Pixel models. The Pixel Fold also bears some notable similarities to its closest competitor, the foldable Samsung Galaxy Z Fold.

CNBC has previously revealed some of the interiors of Google’s new smartphone. It will be deployed on a tablet, equipped with a Google Tensor G2 processor and will work in active mode for up to 24 hours. According to the channel, the Pixel Fold will cost more than $1,700.
