By the summer of 2023, a laptop in Russia can become significantly cheaper – up to 15%. Importers have reduced sales prices between 5 and 30% depending on the model and configuration. The expected drop in prices is the result of an oversupply of laptops and accessories for them.

Even with price cuts, inventories will build until the middle of the year or even the third quarter, IDC analysts said. They expect positive dynamics for 2024 due to the replacement of outdated devices with new ones, as well as in connection with the transition of users to Windows 11.
- According to the results of the first quarter of 2023, sales of laptops in quantitative terms fell by 20% to 812 thousand units, and in monetary terms – by 33% to 45.5 billion rubles compared to the first quarter of 2022. .
