On the show “About the most important thing”, one of the guests suggested that sleeping on the back without a pillow is right and healthy. But according to the popular rehabilitation doctor and TV presenter Sergei Agapkin, this statement is far from the truth.
The expert explained that sleeping without a pillow can lead to false neck folds. “Even on the back, an adult cannot sleep without a pillow, even if he is five centimeters thin, but it has to be, otherwise he will sleep with his head thrown back,” the doctor stressed.
And this is far from the first myth disseminated by Agapkin. Earlier, with General Practitioner Alexei Khukhrev, he talked about common mistakes people make when they have a hangover, including taking painkillers.
