Pete Distad, one of the Apple TV+ executives responsible for the company’s broadcast and sports activities, was among those who left the ship. Distad joined Apple from Hulu in 2013. The reasons for the departure are unknown.

Note that this maintenance has been performed for the third time in the last two months. Thus, this practice becomes the rule rather than the exception. Peter Stern and Michael Abbott, who were previously involved in Apple services and iCloud platform, also left the company.

Meanwhile, Apple representatives quickly denied rumors that the wave of layoffs had begun. True, they did not comment on Distad’s departure.
