TASS reported that Energoinnovation has created a prefabricated bunker that can protect against mortar shells and withstand up to 20 tons, citing the company’s CEO, Yevgeny Tsirulnikov. According to him, at the moment, a prototype development was sent to the Russian Guard and is being tested at the NVO site in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).

The structure weighs 6.5 tons and is equipped with autonomous power supply, ventilation, heating systems, rest and staff workplaces. Tsirulnikov emphasizes that it can be used as a checkpoint by hanging sandbags, and if you bury the bunker in the ground, it can withstand armored vehicles weighing up to 20 tons. In this case, he noted, the design would provide protection against both mortar and artillery shells.

Tsirulnikov said that after the tests, the two factories are ready to open 200 to 250 bunkers in three to four months.
