The study, published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, analyzed data from 14 clinical trials involving 3,085 people to identify the most effective drugs at combating fatigue.

Solriamfetol appeared to be leading, followed by armodafinil-modafinil and pitolizant.

It is worth noting that solriamfetol can increase blood pressure, which is especially dangerous for people with OSA and existing cardiovascular problems. Researchers believe these findings may have implications for the treatment of comorbidities such as chronic fatigue syndrome and COPD.
