Reputation is the least important factor when choosing a bank, the survey showed. Only 16% of those surveyed choose a credit institution based on this criterion. Most pay attention to the attractiveness of bonus programs and the amount of interest on deposits.
Only one in five Russians point to the convenience of a mobile app when choosing a bank, a Feedback Research Center survey of 2,000 people showed.
44% of respondents mentioned the presence of bonus programs with cash back and the amount of interest on deposits as the fundamental factor when choosing a credit institution. Only one in six respondents (16%) consider the bank’s reputation to be the most important criterion.
Most of the survey participants (36%) are customers of two banks at the same time. The most popular organizations among them are Sberbank and Tinkoff.
The sanctions against the banks did not affect their daily life in any way; half of the respondents admitted it. At the same time, the level of confidence in the national banking system decreased among 18% of the respondents, while the majority did not change their opinion on the matter.
The survey was conducted among residents of Russia aged 18-64.
