Healthspan nutritionist Rob Hobson has listed five foods to watch out for. Otherwise, you run the risk of acquiring high blood pressure.

fermented foods. For example, this is kimchi. However, this food has a lot of salt: about 2 g per serving, or 33% of the daily value. This amount of salt can raise blood pressure. According to the recommendations of the UK’s National Health Service, you should not eat more than 6 g of salt per day.

Olive. Although they contain monounsaturated fats that are good for the heart, they are also high in salt.

soups. They are usually prepared by adding strong broths and salty spices. Canned soups are also high in sodium.

coconut oil. It contains many saturated fats that increase cholesterol and blood pressure.

juices. They usually contain a lot of sugar. If you drink too much juice, you can gain weight, which increases the risk of developing high blood pressure.
