The case concerns Google’s “User Choice” billing system. Match claims the system charges app developers as high as 11 percent to 26 percent for service fees, in violation of an earlier CCI decision.

The regulator, which previously banned Google from promoting its apps bundled with Android, said it needed to investigate. Google now has four weeks to respond to the CCI request.
