The route connects Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, with the eastern district of Fife. The vehicle is autonomously controlled, but in the cabin there is a crew of two for control: one of them controls the control system, the second sells tickets and serves passengers.

The manufacturer believes that unmanned vehicles should improve road safety and reduce equipment wear.
