Cloud infrastructure provider and data center operator Selectel is planning an initial public offering. The company holds meetings with potential investors. The site for the placement has not yet been chosen, Kommersant found out.

The provider Selectel plans to go public

Analysts estimate Selectel at 40-50 billion rubles and suggest that the provider will offer investors 15-20% of the shares. IT market participants consider the current moment to be successful in raising funds.

  • The provider has been providing IT infrastructure services, cloud services, and data center services since 2008. The company was founded by former VKontakte shareholders Vyacheslav Mirilashvili and Lev Leviev.
  • Selectel has developed a multi-product platform that operates on the basis of six of its own data centers in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad region. In the spring of 2020, the operator entered the Uzbek market.
