As part of the fight against fraud, Apple terminated 428,000 developer accounts on suspected fraud, disabled 282 million suspicious accounts, and blocked the creation of 105 million developer profiles on suspicion of fraud.

Apple says several times in the past year that its app review team found programs using malicious code with the potential to steal user credentials.

In some cases, the team found apps that looked like harmless financial management platforms but were actually malware.
