The idea of customizing the Tu-214 to the wishes of air carriers is supported by the United Aircraft Corporation. In particular, Aeroflot proposes to make changes to the design of the shelves – to increase their volume so that it can fit one of the six cabin-size suitcases – up to 40 liters.
In addition, the carrier offers to switch to Western models of emergency equipment. UAC noted that a “significant portion” of the company’s requests will be considered.
