Microsoft officially announced the launch this Tuesday (23) Windows Copilot, an innovation that will bring artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to Office 365 tools. With the integration, Windows 11 became the first computing platform to offer centralized AI support.

According to Microsoft, using the tool will be quite easy as the Windows Copilot button will be located in the middle of the taskbar. Once the service is turned on, it should always remain active in an on-screen sidebar.

With the tool, users will be able to ask the AI ​​to rewrite, summarize or annotate a text, for example. The expectation is that Windows Copilot can also act as a personal assistant, answering more complex questions such as searching for flights and accommodation in a particular region.

As announced in March, AI features in Microsoft 365 will also help create presentations in PowerPoint and suggest more professional-looking data visualizations in Excel in seconds.

The company points out that it is extending Bing Chat plugins to Windows “by allowing developers to integrate their apps into Windows Copilot.”

New AI features in the Microsoft Store

The company also announced new features and improvements on the Microsoft Store using artificial intelligence. HE Microsoft Store Artificial Intelligence Center There will be a new dedicated section that will select the best AI experiences created by the developer community and Microsoft.

AI should also optimize keywords in the store to help discover new apps and summarize app reviews.
