The Liberal Democratic Party has proposed exempting sole proprietors from paying insurance premiums while their income falls by 50% or more. The document was prepared and sent to the government, said Yaroslav Nilov, deputy head of the party faction in the State Duma.
“Given the decrease in consumer demand, the fall in the income of individual entrepreneurs, the proposed rule will help preserve a significant part of entrepreneurs and competition in the market,” the document emphasizes.
The bill in the face of a deteriorating economic situation will help those entrepreneurs who are forced to stop their activities, as well as those who plan to start their own business.
