The results of benchmark tests performed on the Mac Pro with the M2 Ultra chip shared by MacRumors reveal a “cheese grater” as the Mac Pro is jokingly and lovingly christened with animalistic and flawless performance.
In individual core tests, the new Mac Pro achieved this: 2,794 points while achieving a score in multi-core tests 21,453 points. For comparison, the previous-generation Mac Pro model with the Intel Xeon W chip scored 1,378 points and 10,390 points. So, the new Mac Pro with M2 Ultra has twice the power of the previous generation with an Intel chip for half the price.
