A supposedly official promotional video for the Google Pixel 8 Pro has revealed a new camera feature on the phone.. According to the material, the device will have a feature called “.Sound Magic Eraser” removes audio noise from video recordings.

The video in question apparently shows people skateboarding while using the Pixel 8 or 8 Pro to shoot movies. After a short while, you can see the tool in action in video editing. he should analyze the captured sounds and by clicking the “sounds” button the user can remove them from the recording.

The video in question, posted on X (formerly Twitter) last Friday (11), will remain live until the time this article is published. But despite quoting “Google Pixel 8”, the alleged official video only shows one Pixel 8 Pro in blue – meaning the vehicle will be available on both models.

There is no confirmation yet that Audio Magic Eraser will be available on other Google Pixel phones. The tool appears to be an evolution of Magic Eraser. The feature was introduced on the Pixel 6 and it can remove unwanted objects by doing something similar to photos.

On the Pixel 7, the company introduced the Photo Unblur feature, which can “blur” images. A rumor that surfaced in March said that Google plans to launch a function called “Video Unblur” on the new Pixel 8 for the same purpose.

What to expect from Pixel 8 Pro?

Another leaked promotional video would confirm an alleged new function for the Pixel 8 Pro. The mobile could bring a new temperature sensor on the back, close to the cameras, if the material is right. It was to be used precisely to measure body temperature.

In July, allegedly real images of the Pixel 8 Pro were also leaked. According to rumors, it will feature 12GB of RAM (LPDDR5), 128GB of initial storage (UFS) and a 6.7-inch OLED display (2992 x 1344 pixels) with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The launch of the new Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro is expected in October. In parallel, Google should also release the new Android 14 in the same period.
