Google will launch the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro in an event that will take place this Wednesday (4) in New York, United States and will be streamed live on the internet. The program also includes the introduction of the brand’s new generation smart watch, Pixel Watch 2.
Several leaks have revealed the features and design of the new Pixel handsets. Some of the smartwatch’s technical data also suggested that it would have features borrowed from Fitbit.

Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro
The new Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will receive its power Tensor G3 processor accompanied by 8 GB of RAM in the first and 12 GB of RAM in the seconddepending on leaks. The screen will have a 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR in both cases, but there are some differences.
In the standard model, the screen will be 6.17 inches with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, while the more advanced model will come with a 6.70 inch panel and a resolution of 2992 x 1344 pixels. There are also differences in the cameras, where the Pixel 8 has a 50 MP main sensor on the back, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 10.5 MP front sensor.
Pixel 8 Pro has three sensors on the back: In addition to the 10.5 MP front camera, 50 MP main, 48 MP ultra wide angle and 48 MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom. While artificial intelligence-enhanced photo features, fast charging and IP68 certification are other common features, the Pro model must have a built-in thermometer.
As for prices, it is estimated that Pixel 8 will start at $700, Pixel 8 Pro at $900, values equivalent to R$ 3.5 thousand and R$ 4.5 thousand respectively at the exchange rate of the day.
