Apple plans to announce updates to some of its products in the first half of 2024. At least according to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, in their latest weekly news bulletin. The journalist emphasizes that the company can launch new iPad and MacBook Air with M3 and finally put it up for sale Apple Vision Pro early next year.

Apple, in particular, will work on iPad Pro and iPad Air March 2024 update. The two models will also have important differences between them to avoid confusion among consumers and make it even more obvious which model is better, since both models currently have very similar specifications.

Gurman assures that the iPad Pro will come with OLED screen in two sizes: 11 and 13 inches.. Thus, they are slightly larger than the current iPad Pro (which come in 10.9- and 12.9-inch diagonals). The 2024 iPad Air will also come in two sizes for the first time. In this case with screens 10.9 and 12.9 inches. It will also support LCD display technology.

On the other hand, Apple’s iPad Pro will arrive with M3 chip, and next year’s iPad Air will be equipped with an M2 chip. While it’s not the company’s latest processor, it does represent a significant leap in performance. Let’s remember that the current Air model has an M1 chip.

Apple will also release a new MacBook Air and Apple Vision Pro.

In March, Apple will also release a new MacBook Air with M3 chip. The company currently catalogs them under codes J613 and J615, which refer to the 13- and 15-inch models, respectively. According to Gurman, the only new feature of these devices will be a new processor. The M3 chip is already present in the base MacBook Pro and has important advantages over the M2 chip included in the current MacBook Air. These include better performance and greater efficiency.

Thanks to this, Apple will update almost the entire Mac catalog to the latest processors. All, except Mac Pro and Mac Studio, which have the M2 Ultra chip. Gurman, however, states that these devices will not be updated until the end of 2024.

Finally, Gurman states that internally Apple plans to launch Vision Pro in January 2024.. The company has already confirmed that its virtual and augmented reality headset will go on sale “in early 2024”, but a journalist from Bloomberg said a few weeks ago that the headset’s release would be delayed until “sometime in March.”
