Almost 90% of teenagers have an iPhone
A survey conducted by Piper Sander shows strong adoption of the iPhone in the United States.
Financial institution Piper Sandler is back for another year with its now-classic survey of teens asking about the extent of iPhone usage in the United States. This year the investment firm discovered: 87% of young people have an iPhone. But the numbers go one step further.
The numbers remained the same compared to last year’s survey. Not only do 87% of young Americans own an iPhone, but 88% plan to have their next smartphone be an Apple iPhone.
Such surveys are of great help to Apple in drawing its road map and sales forecasts. The company recently introduced four iPhone 15 models and they have been quite successful in the market.
