Report published McRumorswas accompanied by an image showing what the design would look like on a body similar to the iPhone 15’s.

Past reports indicate that Apple will keep the square island, albeit with the lenses oriented vertically rather than diagonally. Again, McRumors shared an image of what the iPhone 16 will look like with different configurations of this distribution.

While the change could be considered minimal, some users might associate it with a more minimalist design as the camera module protrudes further from the body over the generations.

The iPhone 16 won’t be the only iPhone to feature this design. It was recently revealed that the iPhone SE 2024 (also known as the fourth-generation iPhone SE) will feature a rectangular island in a portrait orientation with a single lens. Additionally, Apple will finally keep the Home button for Face ID integration and even the iPhone 15’s dynamic island.

What do you think about these possible iPhone 16 design modifications?
