Samsung announced on Wednesday (14) the first update that will be valid for Galaxy S24 mobile phones released last month. The update, which will be released at the end of February, promises to leave the screen with more vibrant colors as well as bringing other improvements.

Complaints about opaque colors on the screen of Samsung’s new flagship have been popping up on social media and online forums in recent days. Complaints caused the manufacturer to raise its voice: that there is no problem with the monitor and the default “dimmed colors” are my choice.

However, Samsung decided to listen to the complaints of dissatisfied users and add ability to change color vibrancy in display settings via software update. According to the brand, the new feature will bring a “more natural and customizable viewing experience.”

As you can see in the published image, a toggle button has been added to the advanced display settings. It allows you to adjust RGB values ​​to your preferences and has a vibrancy slider. According to Samsung, this could lead to a “more vibrant display” when replaced.

Other improvements coming to the Galaxy S24 series

The adjustment to make the screen of Galaxy S24 phones with more vibrant colors is not the only new feature in the update. The technology giant also announced improvements to device camerasOptimizations in zoom features, night photography, portrait mode and video recording, and others.

The company also stated that the top-end smartphones will feature “communication without language barriers,” without providing further details. In this case it probably refers to: Real-time call translation with Galaxy AISamsung’s new artificial intelligence.
