Honor Magic 6 Pro arrives in Europe: lots of zoom and artificial intelligence features to take on Samsung and Xiaomi

After a silent announcement in China, Honor has unveiled to the world what will be its flagship for 2024: Honor Magic 6 Prowhich includes new AI features, improved cameras, a more refined design and the latest from Qualcomm, among other new features.

One of the most interesting features of the Honor Magic 6 Pro is its design. The new premium line from the Chinese company follows the same lines as its predecessor, including a matte back panel and a camera module perfectly positioned in the center where the three rear cameras are located. It also comes with a front panel with virtually no frames and double curvature of the screenand is available in two colors: black and green, which is matched with a shiny silver aluminum frame.

This design is complemented 6.80″ OLED screen. It has a 2K-equivalent resolution of 2800 x 12809 pixels, along with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1600 nits of brightness with peaks of up to 5000 nits; significantly higher than other manufacturers.

New product from Qualcomm and a camera in which the main character is zoom

In terms of performance, Honor has decided to include Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for this Magic 6 Pro; the most powerful from the company, as well as one of the fastest on the market. This allows, among other things, to provide devices with some AI functions. In this case, Honor has decided to include its own language model: MagicML, which enables features such as text detection or the ability to open Google Maps when someone sends an address in a text message.

The camera also gets some AI-powered features, but the most notable are the camera settings. Honor Magic 6 Pro has a 50-megapixel main camera, as well as an ultra-wide-angle sensor of the same resolution. It also includes the so-called.108MP electronic lens. This allows you to take photos with up to 2.5x optical zoom, up to 5x hybrid zoom (combining optical zoom with digital cropping), and up to 100x digital zoom.

To make the camera more versatile, Honor has opted for some additional additions, such as a feature to automatically shoot when the subject smiles or jumps.

Honor Magic 6 Pro price and availability

Honor Magic 6 Pro is now available for purchase from the company’s online store, as well as from major suppliers. Its price is 1299 euros. for one variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. However, to mark the launch, Honor has activated a series of offers and discounts that are available from February 25 to March 10. They are as follows.
