April 1 is a strange date for the United States, since April Fool’s Day is celebrated in this country, and December 28 in other latitudes. AND OnePlus just announced that this is not an April Fool’s joke and that on this day they will release a new cell phone from the Nord line.
This is the OnePlus Nord CE 4, which will arrive in stores with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.
The OnePlus Nord CE 4 will succeed the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G and Nord CE 2 as the company’s new mid-range budget device. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 should also give the Nord CE 4 a good edge over the Snapdragon 782G SoC used in its predecessor. The processor was first announced in November and features a Kryo processor with a 2.63GHz main core, three 2.4GHz performance cores, and four 1.8GHz efficiency cores. We recently saw Vivo launch the V30 with the same processor.
OnePlus claims that the Nord CE 4 should offer a 15% increase in CPU performance, 50% increase in GPU performance and 20% power savings compared to the Nord CE 3.
The image (above note) shows the back of the phone with a triple rear camera setup. Additionally, OnePlus has confirmed that the CE 4 will be available in Dark Chrome and Celadon Marble colors.
