Samsung launched two new smartphones for the Brazilian market this Thursday (14). These are the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 models, both of which belong to the intermediate device category.
The 5G smartphone duo has many common technical features, including a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution and a 5,000 mAh battery. Also, in both Android14 as the operating system behind One user interface 6.1 and security features samsIn the Knox Vault.
Some differences between Samsung mobile phones are that the Galaxy A55 has an Exynos 1480 processor, which also comes with only an 8 GB RAM option, while the A35 has a version with Exynos 1380 and 6 GB RAM.
The new Galaxy A55 and A35 do not come with Galaxy AI functions. According to Renato Citrini, senior product manager at Samsung Brazil, the features are being tested on the A series and there is no release date yet.
Galaxy A55
Galaxy A55 is Samsung’s most powerful mid-range model among the two models on offer. Smartphone has a feature flat design and metal finishIt is somewhat reminiscent of the appearance of premium devices such as those in the Galaxy S series.
In terms of specifications, the device is slightly superior to the A35 in some aspects, such as the Exynos 1480 processor, as well as the fact that both 128 GB and 256 GB options have 8 GB of RAM.
Besides, The camera layout is also superior to that of the Galaxy A35 — especially in the resolution of the front camera and ultra-wide lens. The handset also comes with Nightography mode for taking photos at night or in low-light environments and Super HDR for capturing clear, bright images.

Galaxy A55 will be available in Brazil in light blue, dark blue and pink color options. It is worth noting that the yellow version is not available in Brazil.
The price of the version with 128 GB storage is R$ 2,999, and the price of the version with 256 GB storage is R$ 3,499. The device can be purchased from Samsung website or retail partner stores
Galaxy A35
Galaxy A35 is an intermediate model that is slightly more affordable and has some less powerful components than the A55, such as the Exynos 1380 processor and 6 GB RAM memory option. But the model still brings many important and modern features, which Samsung says are a mix of:simplicity with appreciation“.
For example, despite the slightly lower resolution cameras, the model also includes Nightography and Super HDR modes.
In terms of design, the back of the device also consists of glass. The model is also available in light blue, dark blue and pink colors. Just like the Galaxy A55, the A35 does not have a yellow version.
