Oppo Reno 11 vs Samsung Galaxy A54: display and design
There is nothing much to compare in terms of screen quality and resolution between the Oppo Reno 11 and the Samsung Galaxy A54, and they both have almost the same resolution and very similar materials.
However, it should be noted that the Galaxy A54 is slightly brighter. Also, the glass protection from Asahi (a Japanese company) may not tell you much, but it is a durable material used in Xperia cell phones and Sony screens, so it can be trusted, although the ideal would be to help it with an anti-corrosion case. -fall
Where we do notice a noticeable difference in favor of the Oppo Reno 11 is in its design, which, although usually a subjective section, definitely makes it look especially when you consider that the Galaxy A54’s bezels look dated while the Oppo Reno 11’s They look almost non-existent, especially because of the beautiful curved screen.
Oppo Reno 11 vs Samsung Galaxy A54: who has the better camera?
The most intuitive thing would be to think that when comparing a 2024 phone to a 2023 phone, the latter would have the edge, but that’s not the case with the Oppo Reno 11. And this is despite the fact that both have very similar cameras in terms of numbers, we noticed that when photographing the same objects on the Galaxy A54 and Oppo Reno 11, we noticed different results: in the case of the Samsung, more accurate colors and better detail when scaling.
When it comes to video recording, you will also notice better results when shooting on the Galaxy A54. Our main observation with the Oppo Reno 11 is that when recording with the telephoto lens, the photo takes on a very unnatural green tint.
Oppo Reno 11 vs Samsung Galaxy A54: processing and battery life
There couldn’t be a closer separation between both the cell phones and when purchasing the Mediatek Dimensity 7050 with Exynos 1380, we found that they are processors with very similar capabilities. However, there are some features that make the Mediatek a little better, such as better speed (2600 MHz vs. 2400 MHz) or better thermal design (4W vs. 5W). However, in the AnTuTu 10 test, Exynos scored 11% higher.
As for the battery, you will have almost the same autonomy, although it should be noted that fast charging is better on the Oppo Reno 11.
In short, whichever mobile phone you choose, you will have very acceptable performance and good performance in most of the most demanding games.
Oppo Reno 11 vs Samsung Galaxy A54: which is better?
We believe that except for the camera, Oppo Reno 11 and Samsung Galaxy A54 are phones with very similar features. However, there is one important aspect: price. And while the Oppo Reno 11 retails for 9,999 pesos (about $600), you can find the Galaxy A54 for a significantly lower price.
In fact, given the improvements Oppo has made to the Reno 11 over its predecessor, we think the fairest comparison would be to compare the Reno 10 to the Galaxy A54.
