After a quiet announcement in China, Huawei has unveiled its new series of flagship smartphones worldwide. Net 70. They not only change their name compared to their predecessors of the same family, but are also equipped with new functions that allow them to work with the most powerful mobile phones from brands such as Apple, Samsung or Xiaomi.
In particular, Huawei announced three new models of the Pura 70 series for the European market. On the one hand, the basic – and eponymous – version. On the other hand, there is a Pro variant with some more advanced features. And finally Huawei Pura 70 Ultrathe most powerful and expensive model, which stands out primarily in the photography sector.
In any case, all three phones follow almost the same design, although they have some differences. Huawei has chosen new triangular-shaped photomodule in all three models.
On the other hand, the Huawei Pura 70 has a more rectangular appearance, with completely flat corners and bezels, while the Pura 70 Pro and 70 Ultra have slightly curved side bezels. The Ultra version also has a distinctive label that extends slightly beyond the edge of the camera to differentiate it from the rest of the family. The back also has a different finish: it is made of vegan leather.
The screen is also different on the Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro and 70 Ultra. The base model has a panel. 6.6″ completely flat OLED displayand the Pro version, like the Ultra, has an OLED screen curved at the edges measuring 6.8 inchesas well as with a brightness of 2500 nits and a resolution of 1260 x 2844 pixels.
In all three cases, the smartphones are equipped with the Kirin 9010 chip. The Huawei Pura 70 has a 4900 mAh battery, and the Huawei Pura 70 Pro has a 5050 mAh battery. On the other hand, Huawei Pura 70 Ultra grows to 5200 mAh.
Heart attack chambers and with a retractable system

The camera is the main trump card of the new Huawei Pura 70, 70 Pro and 70 Ultra. The basic model has the simplest configuration, with Main sensor 50 megapixels, as well as a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel periscope sensor. It is capable of 5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom.
Huawei Pura 70 Pro has the same main camera and the same ultra-wide-angle sensor as its younger brother. However, it includes a 48-megapixel telephoto lens capable of taking photos with magnification up to 3.5 times. However, Huawei claims that this sensor is capable of capturing images at up to 200x magnification and 12mm 2700mm equivalent, and also serves as a macro camera.

Huawei Pura 70 Ultra has the same camera as the rest of the models, albeit with completely different specifications. The main sensor, which also has a resolution of 50 megapixels, is 1-inch in size and also has a variable aperture of f/1.6-4.0. However, the most interesting thing about this camera this is his retractable system, which is similar to what we see in some digital cameras. That is, the sensor rises – literally – and protrudes slightly from the camera module.
This allows you to fit a 1-inch sensor without sacrificing space on the device, as the ‘pop-up’ mechanism replaces the huge camera bump that we see on other phones with 1-inch sensors, such as the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Huawei also guarantees that this is a fairly robust module: It has IP68 protection and can be used up to 300,000 times.. On the other hand, the terminal has a mechanism that hides the retractable system before it hits the ground to prevent damage.
This main camera is accompanied by 40MP ultra-wide-angle camera. Of course, we also have a telephoto lens. In this case it is 50 megapixels and has 3.5x zoom.
