Xiaomi wants to turn its most popular smart fitness tracker into a smartwatch of sorts to compete with the likes of Samsung and Apple. The Chinese company will announce next July about Xiaomi Group 7 Proa fortified version of the recently released Mi Smart Band 7, which promises to stand out mainly due to its appearance.
The design is, in fact, one of the few details that Xiaomi has confirmed about the Mi Band 7 Pro, which may indicate that this is the most prominent feature of this device. Its appearance is very different from what the Chinese company has offered for years for the Mi Band line.. In particular, it has an aesthetic much more similar to that of a smartwatch, with a larger body and therefore a significantly larger screen.
It is not yet clear if the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro will retain the features of the Mi Band 7 or add some more advanced features as a novelty. Remember that the company’s current SmartBand has sensors that allow you to measure your heart rate, blood oxygen levels, or sleep. Also various modes of exercise and sports; only about 110. Xiaomi also has a version with NFC for mobile payments. The only missing Mi Band 7 is GPSfeature that may appear in this model.
Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro will be announced in July.
Xiaomi, apart from the design, has confirmed that the Mi Band 7 Pro will be launched on July 4th. Its price and availability are, yes, unknown. On the other hand, and on the same July 4, the Chinese company also plans to announce the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. This is the first smartphone created in collaboration with Leica, the lens maker, which, as we recall, began working with the Asian firm in May last year.
Meanwhile, you can already buy Xiaomi Smart Band 7 in Spain. This activity bracelet can be purchased from €49.99 and includes, in addition to the aforementioned sensors and sports and health features, a 1.62-inch MOLED screen that offers a 25% larger viewing area compared to the previous generation.
