I came to talk to you on this occasion One of my favorite features of iPadOS 18I’m in love with it and I’m sure you will too.

I have always considered myself a huge software enthusiast and a real enthusiast for the design of the user interface of the Cupertino company’s operating systems. I will not make an exception with iOS 18 and iPadOS 18. When you combine design and functionality the way Apple does, success is guaranteed.. If this is accompanied by good hardware, like Apple Silicon processors, you turn a good product into a great product.

The feature I’ll be covering today is a clear example of how Apple’s design team knows this. Harness the full power of hardware and get the most out of it Each of your devices to ensure a seamless design in the user interface of iPadOS 18 and iOS 18. All with intuitive and dynamic mechanics.

This iPadOS 18 iPad trick is so fun and I’m totally in love with it

new text effects Messages go a step beyond the speech bubble effects and background effects that have been available for years. They offer a unique experience among the wide range of alternatives offered by the market. I mean, I wish it was available on WhatsApp too!

Apple now also lets you choose which words you want to have the effect, so you can put a word with one effect and another word with another effect in the same sentence.

  • Emphasize.
  • Trembling.

My favourites Explosion, Accent and Concussion, the animation is very well done! Kudos to Apple’s software design team, they did a great job with these Message effects. So how do they work? I explain it to you below.

How to enable new iPadOS 18 chat effects

Apple implemented two different methods to add the new iPadOS 18 text effects to the Messages app. The first of these, the simplest, a moving “A” shaped button It is located in the upper-right corner of the virtual keyboard of iOS 18 and iPadOS 18. The second method is to select a word, phrase or paragraph and select the option. text effects or press the text field when it is empty.

  • pops up Messages.
  • Access a chat conversation.
  • Write the sentence you want.
  • Select a word or entire phrase.
  • Press text effects in the drop-down menu.

Don’t forget this right now Both iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 are in beta and therefore both updates contain bugs and stability issues. However, if you accept this result, just like I accepted being blocked in Messages, you can download the beta version of iOS 18 and try all the new features before anyone else with a very simple process.
