Did you know that the last Xiaomi Mix Fold Chinese company was produced entirely using robots and automated processes? Yes, that’s right, Xiaomi Smart Factory has produced over 1 million devices.
The company says the system is smart enough to diagnose and fix problems and optimize its own processes to “evolve on its own.”
The 80,000-square-metre (860,000-square-foot) facility is located in Changping District on the northeastern outskirts of Beijing.

The Magic of Xiaomi’s Smart Factory
The new factory will produce Xiaomi’s upcoming foldable phones, the MIX Fold 4 and MIX Flip, which will begin shipping later this month, churning out one roughly every three seconds, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Weibo post details that the “Xiaomi Pengpai Intelligent Manufacturing Platform”, which is entirely developed by the company, is the core of the factory. This platform provides the factory with self-perception, decision-making, and autonomous execution capabilities.
